1938 – JOHN WILLIAM HADLEY, Contractor, 32
John William Hadley of 18 Appletree Road, Stanfree, had lived in Stanfree since he was a boy. He had been married for eight years. He left his widow and a son, aged seven. He was buried at Bolsover.
